Foods From Scratch Solutions

This guide shares my experiences of healthy eating and staying active. When I explained my eating and exercise methods to friends and family, they expressed curiosity and asked me to share recipes and document my findings. On this page, you will learn the specifics of my approach, which has been effective for me. I share it in hopes that it inspires your own journey to unearth what works for you.

Cadence Overview

Exercise for 10-15 minutes is done in between each step. 

#1 Root vegetables and greens with cheese sauce

     Crepe with cream and fruit cream with dried fruit

#2 Vegetable medley with cheese sauce, such as brussel sprouts, carrots, artichokes, butternut squash, and cauliflower

     Nut butter lollipop, granola, cream, and carob cream

#3 Root vegetables and greens with cheese sauce

     Crepe with cream and fruit cream with dried fruit

#4 Vegetable medley with cheese sauce, such as corn, peas, mushrooms, avocado, green beans, and broccoli 

​     Nut butter cup, granola, cream, and carob cream

Portions are based on personal needs.

Using cost-effective whole ingredients

Root vegetables and greens with cheese sauce

Root Vegetables 

Rutabaga, turnips, parsnips, sweet potato, and yams

Greens

Cabbage, collard, dandelion, mizuna, komatsuna, mustard, radicchio, bok choy, red butter, chard, and kale CHECK NAMES AND ADD COMMON LIKE ROMAINE

Cheese Sauce

Base, Micro Ingredients nutritional yeast, South River Miso, and Real Pickles sauerkraut. 

*Tips*

 

Greens chopped up and stored in containers with vented lid and placed in freezer for weeks. This allows for infrequent visit to grocery store. 

 

Portions can be managed by utilizing scoops for the sauce.
